Chad Austin
I’m a Moss Bluff native and have been in the radio industry for 15 years. My first gig in radio was to dress up as the radio station mascot Crawford The Crawfish. I walked in many parades and festivals that first summer. It all paid off and after 6 months, I was put on the air. Since that time, i’ve been on every station in Lake Charles with the exception of only one. In 2004, I was hired as the Entertainment Manager for the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Ft. Lauderdale Fl and Biloxi Miss. I really enjoyed meeting and introducing some of the greatest rock & country bands out there. I thoroughly enjoy my job each day. I get to talk to great people every morning on the phones, giveaway tix to the hottest concerts & events and play some awesome country music for all my friends. In my spare time, I like to play golf, softball, hunt, fish, shrimp, crab and just about anything else outdoors. I love my culture, heritage and this truly wonderful state.
