Watch Patrick Stewart’s Hilarious Infomercial for His New Country Album

British actor Sir Patrick Stewart, 75, has accepted his most challenging role to date: Cowboy Pat, a chaps-wearing crooner who is touting his own record collection in a new YouTube infomercial.

Sir Patrick, who is well known for his roles as Captain Jean-Luc Picard on Star Trek and Professor Charles Xavier in the X-Men series, has become a social media darling over the last few years with his hilarious Tweets and Instagram posts.

In his latest iteration, Sir Patrick assumes the identity of Cowboy Pat, singing hits like “Rawhide,” “Buttons and Bows,” “El Paso,” “Don’t Fence Me In,” “Ringo” and more.

“Long known as England’s premier cowboy singer, Sir Stewart now brings his music Stateside in this amazing collection,” says the voiceover, continuing with zingers such as: “Sometimes it takes an Englishman to teach us what’s great about being an American” and “With his Royal Shakespeare training, Sir Stewart can jump into character and paint a picture like no other.”

But wait—there’s more. Cowboy Pat is also hawking a duets album, Duets Out West, with Sir Patrick’s real-life wife Sunny Ozell, and a holiday album, Christmas on the Range. Visit Cowboy Pat’s website to purchase the tunes. All proceeds go to the International Rescue Committee, an organization that helps those affected by war and disasters around the world.

Check out the hilarious clip, and props to England’s premier cowboy singer.
