In case you missed it last night, SWLA’s very own Gyth Rigdon brought America to tears with his stripped down performance of Shenandoah’s “I Want to be Loved Like That,” on NBC’s The Voice!
Just Rigdon and a mic sitting on a small stage in the middle of the crowd was all it took to bring Blake Shelton to his feet and have the crowd fall in love! This week there was a new way to vote to help Gyth move on to the next round and that was by downloading and streaming his performance on Itunes! Well America you didn’t disappoint! As of 6 AM this morning, Gyth’s Top 24 performance is now # 5 on the Country Chart and # 23 on the all genre chart! Hopefully this will help ensure his spot in the top 13 tonight! Way to go #GYTHNATION!
